PETER G. EDWARDS Mr. Edwards joins SAI as its Senior Executive Advisor. His aviation career began back in the 1970’s, and he has held numerous positions, including senior management, with such prestigious aviation companies as AiResearch, Gulfstream and Bombardier. He worked for Gulfstream from 1986 to 1995, where he excelled in international sales and marketing handling Europe and Africa as Regional Vice President of Sales, which promoted him to Vice President of Gulfstream V Sales and Marketing in May 1992. In 1995, he moved to Bombardier Aerospace in Canada as Vice President of International Sales and Marketing, and eventually was promoted to President of Bombardier’s Business Jet Division in 2001, where he created and managed a world-class organization of 7,500 employees and introduced many new models to their prestigious line of business jets, including the Global XRS and 5000, Challenger 605 and 300, and several models in the Learjet 40, 45 and 60 series. Currently, Mr. Edwards is the CEO of JetAviation, headquarted in Switzerland, and a leading global aircraft service company with over 5,000 employees providing aircraft maintenance, outfitting and fixed based operations. Mr. Edwards is a graduate of the University of Southern California, and has been involved as a member and on the Board of many organizations, including GAMA, NBAA and the World Economic Forum. |
