THOMAS HARTMANN
Program Manager

Mr. Hartmann will have the primary responsibility of overseeing continuing design and risk mitigation efforts during Phase 2. As the program proceeds, this position will lead to overseeing an integrated vendor team through systems engineering and hardware build, flight test and certification, and ultimately into manufacturing. Mr. Hartmann joined Lockheed Martin as a propulsion engineer in 1980. In 1992, he was instrumental in the capture of a classified program and transitioned into project management. Mr. Hartmann is currently a Program Manager within the Advanced Development Programs (“Skunk Works”) organization of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company. Mr. Hartmann holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of California, Davis with a double major in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering. He received a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California. He holds several United States Patents related to sonic-boom mitigation technologies and their applications to supersonic business jets.
